Pictures speak a thousand words

So, we have some news that we wanted to share with you, following the latest government announcement. Drumroll please…on Tuesday 9th March, we opened our gates for the first time this year at The Big Swing!

We honestly, couldn’t have been more excited to welcome the children back onto site. Although we are only hosting adventure play sessions for our most vulnerable families, it is a step in the right direction, and the past week has been absolutely brilliant. They have been running, smiling jumping, playing, laughing – it’s great to have them back onto site and we can tell they are so chuffed to be back too.

Interestingly we have noticed the children being a little bit more out of breath as they’ve been running around the playground, however we we’re confident that their fitness levels will be back to where they were in no time.

The team are so pleased to have them back it’s really added some life back into the place. The kids are really loving all of our new additions too.

Anyway, without further ado, here are some snapshots from the past week.

Like we said, we are only hosting our play sessions to those who are most in need. So unfortunately there is no booking system in place at the moment, as we are contacting those families directly. Please note that our sessions are all done in a Covid-19 secure way.

We are hopeful that in the next few months things will be back to normal and we can host open access play!
